CITY OF ALBANY DOPPSTADT 617.2 TROMMEL COMPOST SCREENER PUBLIC NOTICE COOPERATIVE PROCUREMENT Notice is hereby given that the City of Albany intends to enter into a contract with Ecoverse Industries, in Sparks, Nevada, to purchase a Doppstadt 617.2 Trommel compost screener using an interstate permis sive cooperative contract for street maintenance equipment estab lished by HGACBuy, Houston, Texas, in accordance with ORS 279A.220. The aggregate purchase for the Doppstadt Screener is $333,707. The City's compost facility project is near completion and requires a compost screening machine to screen out larger pieces of bulking material for reuse as amendment and to reduce to a finer final product prior to distribution. The purchase includes one Doppstadt 617.2 screener, all warranties, local parts supplier, and service by qualified mainte nance technicians. The City is a member of HGACBuy and will benefit in both time and cost savings from using the cooperative contract HGAC awarded to Ecoverse Industries, #SM10-20. Ecoverse is an approved vendor for Doppstadt. The total cost of the purchase is $333,707 and the expected service life of the equipment is 25 years. The purpose of this notice is to provide information to the public and to give interested persons an opportunity to submit written comment. Any person may submit comments specific to this notice within seven days of the date of this public notice. The protest shall provide a detailed statement of the legal and factual grounds to support the protest, demonstrate how the procurement process is contrary to law, and the relief requested. Protests shall be handled pursuant to OAR 137-046-0470 and ORS 279A.225. Written protests must be delivered to Diane M. Murzynski at procurement@ cityofalbany.net, no later than 12:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2022. Written protests received after the closing date and time are late and will not be considered. This notice is given in accordance with provisions of the Oregon Revised Statues, 279A.200 to 279A.225, and Oregon Adminis trative Rules, 137-046-0400 to 137-046-0470.
