The Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal AL, 35898 intends to award Landauer Corporation of 2 Science Rd., Glenwood, IL (Cage Code: 0ZVR4, Element of Resource Code 2571) on a sole source basis, a firm-fixed price contract, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302.1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". Landauer will provide preventive and remedial (on-call), on-site maintenance services for Landauer-manufactured Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) dosimetry readers and annealers for a base contract period of one year, plus two option years to be exercised based upon continuing bona fide need for services and availability of funding.

Under this service agreement the original equipment manufacturer shall furnish all labor, diagnostic software, hardware, documentation, schematics, repair parts, any required shipping of equipment and parts, and tools required to provide both scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and "on-call" remedial maintenance (RM) for stated model and serially numbered items listed above. Maintenance shall be provided on-site at Building 5417 and Building 5435, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, as applicable to the location of the equipment.
This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations and a solicitation will not be issued for this requirement.
