A. This is a solicitation for Project # DPW-20158-0J, Mechanical Room Repairs, B3021, Fort Wainwright, Alaska.
B. The U.S. Army has a requirement to perform the remediation of mold on the walls and installation of mechanical ventilation in Building 3021. The work entails of cleaning the walls and repainting with mold inhibiting paint to repair mold damage. Repair mechanical system by replacing safety relief valve and adding mechanical ventilation. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, and storage as required to perform all work in accordance with specifications, commercial practices and industry standards. See statement of work (SOW) and attachments for further information.
C. A site visit will be conducted on 3 March 2021, 10:00 AM Alaska Time (AKT). See solicitation document for more information regarding the site visit. Failure to attend the site visit listed in FAR Clause 52.236-27 Alt I in order to identify obvious site conditions does not constitute a valid claim for differing or unforeseen site conditions.
D. Any questions must be submitted by e-mail to the point of contact below no later than 08 March 2021 by 10:00 AM AKT. All questions will be responded to through beta.sam.gov (GPE) only.
E. The period of performance for this project is 90 calendar days after receiving a notice to proceed (NTP). NTP will be issued 10 days after the date the contract is awarded.
F. The disclosure of magnitude is less than $25,000.00 in accordance with FAR 36.204(a).
G. This acquisition is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside based upon North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236220, size standard of $39.5 million.
H. The Government intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for this project.
I. This solicitation is issued electronically. It is only available via the official beta.SAM.gov website. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package as no paper copies will be furnished. Potential offerors shall register at beta.SAM.gov in order to receive notifications and/or changes to solicitation.
