This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-43 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20080820. NAICS is 314121 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
*This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside.
Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer that meets the salient characteristics listed below as described in FAR clause 52.211-6 - Brand Name or Equal.
45 CONS/LGCB, Patrick Air Force Base, FL, 32925 is seeking to purchase Brand Name or Equal Drapes/curtains for CCAFS Cafeteria. There is no specific manufacture, the Panles Must meet the following requirements. Panels are to cover food preparation area from viewing during functions. Product should be functional and attractive as well as have the ability to move as needed and can be removed and cleaned. Light weight Cotton ( not treated for flame retardant). Drapes shall be sewn with S" Pleating 2 Fullness. Panels will be of Air Force Blue color to compliment existing decor. Light duty Commerical tracks will be installed to extrend beyond the requested areas. Tracks may be motorized or non- motoroized. Panels should be in 12' sections for easy maneuverability and will expose fire exit signs. Track will be installed with secure cables or wood headers above grid on existing drop down ceiling. Approximate dimensions are 200 ft of track, 9 foot high ceilings however these dimensions are approximate and vendors will need to perform their own measurements. A site visit opportunity for all interested parties will be on 7 SEP 2010 at 10 AM. All interested parties must be at the Cape Canaveral AFS visitors center no later then 9:30 am with a valid drivers license and proof of insurance to be issued a visitors pass. Interested Parties are to RSVP by 2 Sep10 pm. Interested vendors must bring a ladder as well as measuring equipment to make proper measurements. See Section I for site visit clause.
