The USDA Animal Plant Health Inspection Service, Pocatello Supply Depot (PSD) needs to find new sources for 3-Chloro-P-Toluidine Hydrochloride also known as 3-Chloro-4-methylaniline hydrochloride(CPTH). They are seeking sources that would be able to manufacture, and, or, supply the PSD with 34 kg of CPTH.
Background:
The Pocatello Supply Depot (PSD) manufactures several bait products used to control nuisance pests. DRC-1339 is used by Wildlife Services to control pests. Many Wildlife Services offices have contracts with local business, and individuals that require DRC-1339 to complete. If PSD does not have DRC-1339 these contracts can't be completed.
Specifications:
CPTH for Pocatello Supply Depot is required to meet the following specifications:
97% ± 3% purity
The CPTH should be off-white to pale yellow in appearance
The CPTH should be in a fine powder free of clumps
Estimated need will be about 34 kgs per year.
