Douglasville-Douglas County Water & Sewer Authority 8763 Hospital Drive Douglasville, Georgia 30134 INVITATION FOR BIDS for DRY AND LIQUID TREATMENT CHEMICALS IFB# 280 April 12, 2023 The Douglasville-Douglas County Water & Sewer Authority (hereafter referred to as the Authority) is soliciting competitive sealed bids for one calendar year from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 for dry and liquid treatment chemicals. The delivery price shall be firm for the calendar year. Sealed bids will be received by the Authority at its Administrative Offices located at 8763 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, Georgia 30134 until 2:00 p.m., local time, on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Bids shall be sealed and mailed to the Authority so that they are received no later than the above time and date. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids received after the closing time and date, for any reason whatsoever, will not be considered. It will be the sole responsibility of the bidder to assure all bids are delivered to the Authority Administrative Offices on or before the above stated time and date. The Authority will in no way be responsible for delays in mail delivery or delays caused by any other occurrence. Any bids received after the above time and date will not be accepted under any circumstances.
