The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is considering whether or not to set aside an acquisition for Sole Source contract to VSP Technologies. The contract is expected to be awarded on or about 09 April 2010 with performance to start on or about 12 April 2010. The estimated price for this availability is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The NAICS Code is 332991.

The scope of the acquisition is to supply parts for the USCGC NORTHLAND (WMEC-904) as follows:

1) Provide P/N TB-FIN-STAB-TG-13886-BRG Thordon Bearing HPSXL, Fin Stabilizer Shaft
2) Provide P/N F546150102, Thordon Bearing SXL Fully finished Rudder Bearing
3) Estimated Freight Cost

At the present time, this acquisition is expected to be issued as a Sole Source contract. However, if you believe your company can supply the listed parts, please respond and include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a bid for this solicitation as a prime contractor; (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers; (c) past performance references with points of contact and phone numbers.
