This request is to replace failed batteries in the DC Rectifier systems supporting the Defense Switched Network (DSN) telephone switches on Okinawa. The three locations are Fort Buckner, Naha Annex, and Torii Station.The contractor shall disconnect, de-install, and remove all displaced power equipment. The new batteries shall be sealed, rechargeable, and recombination cells. The new batteries shall be installed / tested by the contractor.
