In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center intends to extend the ordering period on its current Contract No. DTFACT-09-D-00012 with Enroute Computer Solutions (ECS) of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, to allow performance through March 15, 2017. This modification is intended to be an extension within the current contract ceiling to allow sufficient time for the competitive follow-on contract to be awarded/transitioned and will allow for continued second level engineering support services to critical National Airspace systems without disruption. Only ECS is able to continue support without causing an unacceptable interruption in service. The new competitive follow-on Screening Information Request (SIR) is estimated to be issued in June 2016. A competitive solicitation is not available for this extension. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals.
