NOTICE OF INTENT

The 37th Contracting Squadron, Lackland Air Force Base intends to award a sole source contract to Coachworks LLC (Doing Business as Texas Custom Coach), 10498 State Hwy 16S, Pipe Creek, TX, 78063. The proposed contract action is a commodity for which the Government intends to award to one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all responses received within two business days after date of publication of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of request for quotation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal by 1200 CST on Friday, 03 April 2009, which will be considered by the agency. No solicitation or request for quote is available.

Description of Services: The requirement is to complete interior upgrades on the Distinguished Visitor Surrey to include new seating in rear & driver, carpet, LCD TV with DVD player, cabinet for ice bin, umbrella stand, couch in rear of coach, driver's stereo and back-up monitor, compartment above driver, electrical outlets, drains, remote holder, and bound carpet runner. The surrey is currently in a non-drivable status. Vehicle would have to be picked up from current location in Pipe Creek, TX and delivered to Lackland, AFB upon completion of work.
