REQUEST FROM INDUSTRY (RFI) POST-SOLICITATION

The 96 Test Group is seeking additional comments from industry regarding Solicitation FA2486-16-R-0009, Dynamometer. The solicitation identified the requirements of the Government to modernize the 192 inch dynamometer at the Landing Gear Test Facility (LGTF), Wright-Paterson AFB, OH. This solicitation allowed the potential vendors the opportunity to choose the most cost effective method to achieve the Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) listed on Table 1, Attachment 1, of the solicitation. The request was for vendors to propose if refurbishment or replacement of the existing dynamometer was the best solution to meet the KPPs.

The solicitation is part of the announcement above and can be reviewed for comment. The Government is asking industry to provide information on any strengths or weaknesses observed in the solicitation and its attachments. These comments should include feasibility, attainability and risk elements expected in meeting the KPPs. Additionally, any hindrances to successfully meeting the KPPs would be of great interest to the Air Force. This notice does not extend the previous proposal due date of 17 Jun 2016.
