The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive (sole source) basis with Viasat, Inc (47358). The Navy requires modification of two (2) of the DAMA Order Channel Control Trainer/Simulator (DOCCT/S) stations part number VA-017000-037 to the configuartion of part number VA-017000-030. Additional requirements include 5-year warranties, installation support and training for both units. Viasat, Inc. is the only firm with the knowledge, experience and proprietary data required to fulfill the requirements for the test set modification. The Government intends to procure the above item under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition.
