3.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES 3.1 Background 3.1.1 The Alachua County Library District (ACLD) is requesting proposals for POE switches, Wireless Access Points and required GBICS (or Equivalent), fiber patch cables and any necessary uplink or stack cables, for Library Headquarters and 11 Branch locations. Proposals must include line item pricing detail on all material and software required. Include a line item for shipping (if additional charge), 5 year Meraki Licensing or SMARTNet or equivalent included in the price. Proposal should include necessary interconnect devices including GBIC’s, SFP’s, ethernet, stacking and fiber patch cables. Proposals should quote all E-rate ineligible items separately. 3.1.2 This pricing includes (but is not limited to): 3.1.2.1 Delivery of each component to ACLD Headquarters, 401 E. University Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601. 3.1.2.2 Available to support district personnel via telephone during installation and as performing post install testing and verification of both internal and external network connections. 3.1.3 The proposed solution price must include a complete bill of materials, applicable sales tax, applicable shipping, and installation/professional services. The cost should be separated by School Site and E-rate eligibility clearly identified. 3.1.4 No refurbished equipment is acceptable 3.1.5 The Alachua County Library District (ACLD) has standardized on a Cisco Meraki platform, however, equivalent products are acceptable. If proposing equivalent product please submit data verifying equivalency with proposal.
