The Douglas County School District is requesting proposals from licensed, qualified firms to upgrade the school system wireless access points with Cisco Meraki MR46 Wi-Fi 6 indoor wireless access points (or equivalent) at 26 school facilities. DCSS requires removal of old wireless access points and installation of new wireless access points. DCSS is seeking to upgrade switches at 2 school facilities. Switches to be provided are Catalyst 9500 24x1/10/25G 4-port 40/100G, K12 Switch (or equivalent) and Meraki MS390 48 port 12mGig, 36m2.5G L3 UPOE Switch. DCSS requires upgrades to the cabling between the data closets at 2 sites where switches will be installed. All products quoted shall be new and carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Refurbished equipment or equipment that is being sold through a nonauthorized manufacturer’s dealer will not be considered. This is in accordance with the plans and specifications as outlined in this proposal package. Sealed proposals for RFP 22-014 E-Rate Wireless Access Point Installation will be received by the Douglas County School District at the Central Office located at 11490 Veterans Memorial Highway, Douglasville, Georgia until Tuesday, March 21, 2022, at 2:00 PM EST.
