EARTHQUAKE REPAIR, BUILDING 11551 AND 8681, Project # FXSB 20-5247M
This requirement is to provide repairs for damages to Building 11551 and 8681 sustained as a result of the earthquake affecting the Anchorage area on 30 November 2018. Repairs are as indicated on the drawing(s) associated with project # FXSB 20-5247M. Damage shown on drawings are assigned a Repair Code and contractor is to refer to Schedule of Repairs on drawing to define repair(s). Work is to be completed on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska

This requirement must meet all specifications outlined in the Statement of Work and corresponding documents and drawings associated with project # FXSB 20-5247M. The contractor shall have 120 days to complete the project from  Notice to Proceed.

Site Visit for Earthquake Repair Bldg 11551 & Bldg 8681

Date: Wednesday, August 26, 2020

Time: 10:00 AM

Location: Bldg 11551, followed by Bldg 8681

A site visit will be conducted Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 10:00 am. The site visit will begin with Bldg 11551 and will be followed immediately with transferring to Bldg 8681. Please be sure to arrive prior to 10:00 am. You must be escorted by designated personnel to access the facility and we plan to begin promptly at 10:00 am. If you are late, you may not be able to gain access to the facility.

If you are planning to attend, and in need of a base pass, please include that you will need a base pass in your email, and please include the first name, middle initial, and last name of those who are planning to attend and requesting base access.

Please note all visitors must be able to provide a valid Federal or State issued ID to be issued a Visitor Pass. Visitors must also present valid registration and proof of insurance of the vehicle they are operating at the time, regardless of vehicle ownership. If not driving or unable to present registration and/or proof of insurance, they will be issues a “Non-driver” pass and will need other transportation. Those who request a Base Pass prior to 3:00 PM, Monday August 24, 2020, will be able to retrieve passes once request has been received and confirmed, at the Boniface Visitor Center, just outside of the Boniface gate. Please note the time it takes to receive a pass to include wait time can take an estimated 45 mins – 1 hr depending on demand, please plan accordingly.
