The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska intends to award a sole source purchase order to Olympus America, Inc. as a result of them having patented technology and copyrighted software. Due to the patent and copyright status, only the instrument manufacturer can fulfill this requirement.

This requirement is to purchase an Olympus Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) Cart:
Ultrasound bronchoscopy cart and video processor that is compatible with the Olympus BF-UC180F-A Ultrasound Bronchoscope.

MH-907: 1 ea remote cable for black/white video printer

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106(b). The anticipated award date is 06 May 2015. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 04 May 2015 at 2 pm Alaska Standard Time.

A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
