The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole-source delivery order to Raytheon Company, 2000 East El Segundo Boulevard, El Segundo, CA 90245 under BOA N00019-10-G-0006 to incorporate Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 0035 Step 2 for Electro-Optical (EO) Daylight Operations Improvement as a retrofit to existing Advanced Targeting Forward Looking Infrared (ATFLIR) pods. This effort includes all activities associated with the retrofit effort [i.e. Input Image Processor CCAs, Auto Alignment Assembly, Visible Channel Assembly, Camera Assembly, and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) CCAs]. Raytheon is the original designer and integrator of the ATFLIR pod into the F/A-18 weapon system and, as such, is the only source that possesses all the technical data necessary to incorporate ECP 0035 Step 2 improvements in the ATFLIR pod.
