The AFTC Installation Contracting Division/PZIOAD, Eglin AFB FL, intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for Maintenance of the EDAX equipment (Apollo-40, Silicon Drift Detector Module and SiLi window, Hikari camera, and Pegasus Analysis Sysem) for the Air Force Research Lab IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to EDAX Inc., 91 McKee Drive, Mahwah, NJ 07430.  Anticipated award date is 03 April 2020. 

This requirement is for one base year + 2 option years: 

CLIN 0001: EDAX Service Contract

The base Period of Performance for these services will be 05 April 2020 – 04 April 2021 for AFRL, Eglin Air Force Base, FL, 32542 on a FOB Destination basis.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 811219, small business size standard:  $22M. 

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement in the future is in the best interest of the Government.  All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items/services required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide these items/services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
