Scope of Work: Includes excavation, grading, removal & replacement of asphalt concrete pavement, bus pads, sidewalk, curb ramps, curb and gutter, driveway approach, related work under this contract includes mobilizing crews and equipment, implementing a construction safety plan, adjusting utility covers, and all appurtenant work, and signing & striping. Please send the original bid bond, as well as the notarized affidavits, enclosed in a sealed envelope and marked clearly with following information, formatted exactly as below: “SEALED BID BOND FOR EDINGER PROTECTED BIKE LANES FROM SANTA ANA RIER TO BRISTOL ATPL 5063(172); PROJECT NO.: 17-6885 City of Santa Ana Attn.: Victor So Public Works Agency; M-22 20 Civic Center Plaza; Ross Annex 3rd Floor Santa Ana, CA 92701" It is recommended to opt for method with tracking mechanism for delivery. However, these documents are being used for verification and must exactly match scanned electronic versions that will already have been submitted by bid deadline (electronically). Following Bid due date and time, Preliminary Bid Results will be accessible to the public via PlanetBids online. Construction Engineering staff will update Preliminary Bid Results with eligibility status an hour after Bid deadline following verification and review of submissions. Awards will be updated on PlanetBids from "Award Pending" to "Awarded" only after City Council meeting consideration.
