NCSL's organization includes memberships representing Legislators from all 50 states and territories. NCSL has the infrastructure to organize their memberships and ensure that vital public health activities, programs and related activities are expeditiously disseminated. NCSL also has experience and expertise to facilitate discussions, written documentation and evaluation of mutual interests among their members. NCSL's experience with implementing state team meetings focused on participation from state team staff is a key component of experience needed to inform evaluation efforts. NCSL also has existing staff with injury and violence prevention experience that specifically focuses on state legislatures.
No solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps. We will only issue a solicitation to NCSL. CDC believes that NCSL is the only source available to provide this service that meets mission critical requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for proposal. A determination to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
