The United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) is committed to strengthening the nation's future by educating, training and developing leaders of character who are ethically, intellectually, professionally, and physically prepared to serve their country and humanity, and who are strong in their resolve to build on the long military and maritime heritage and proud accomplishments of the United States Coast Guard. To accomplish this mission, the USCGA must effectively process, report and communicate with approximately 20,000 new admissions inquiries each year. Additionally, Academy Admissions Partners must also have real-time informational access to students in the inquiry pool.
The U.S. Coast Guard Academy will be in partnership with Hobsons Incorporated.  Hobsons' partner institutions have exclusive access to a number of successful marketing products that are differentiated in the field of college search. While each product and service is highly useful on its own, the power of integration of multiple offerings allows institutions like the to develop comprehensive campaigns to achieve enrollment goals. Due to its reach and integration with the Academy's Admission CRM system, Hobsons' will be the foundation on which all other lead generation strategies are built. By choosing to partner with Hobsons', the Academy can leverage the following products to build a recruitment communication campaign:

1. Naviance - the largest high school based system in the world that integrates students', parents', and guidance counselors' college planning, search, and application processes into one cohesive database. Naviance is a closed network that reaches over 6 million students. Naviance has a 30% market share across the country, with strengths in the Academy's top markets and several emerging markets of interest including Texas and California. Partnering with Hobsons' is the only way to directly access students and their parents within Naviance at a time when they are most attentive to making concrete decisions.

2. Active Match - the only online tool that allows institutions to specifically send target messages to students by state, ethnicity, year in high school and GPA. Only Hobsons can grant access to all 6 million students in 2,000 high schools, using a matching service. Active Match is an excellent tool to strategically shape and diversify incoming classes.

3. Competitive Active Match - the only online tool that allows institutions to specifically send target messages to students based on their state of resident can on a selected school that particular students are interested in. Only Hobsons can grant access to these types of filters through Naviance.
