Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to award a sole source purchase order for lecture/workshop/theater series to a small business Steward & Associates under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only. Notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.

The purpose of this sole source is an educational experience is afforded to Office of Administration employees in the Indianapolis centers as well as young people, families, indigent and senior citizens who normally would not receive the opportunity to attend such event.

Since 1991, legacy Customs, now CBP, has been a longtime supporter of the lecture/workshop/theater series developed by Steward and Associates.  This forum offers an excellent recruitment source by placing an advertisement in the Speaker Series program book, which creates community awareness and exposes the community to CBP's mission and employment opportunities.  They are the only known vendor that can satisfy the need of the government.

This acquisition is being procured under FAR part 6 and will result in the issuance of one (1) purchase order.
