SOURCES SOUGHT for the EGYPTIAN AIR FORCE C-130H AIRCRAFT DIGITAL FLIGHT DATA RECORDER (FDR) / COCKPIT VOICE RECORDER (CVR)
This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification, production, and installation of a combined digital Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) system for twenty-four (26) Egyptian Air Force C-130H aircraft. This acquisition requires the contractor to integrate, install and qualify these systems into the existing C-130H configuration. This acquisition will also include the initial spare part inventory for two (2) FDR/CVR line replaceable units to support these aircraft, ancillary support equipment (SE) if applicable, and technical publications. The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards.
