This effort is in support of the Phase III Portable Electronic Maintenance Aid PMA260 programs. The Department of Defense mandates that computer systems implement a form of two-factor authentication. This requires users to provide at least two forms of authentication that is either in their knowledge (password), possession (physical item), or their person (biometrics). The software must allow for standalone sign on and be compatible with the current CF-31 laptop hardware. EID Authenticate software allows for standalone sign-on mode that is compatible with the current CF-31 laptop hardware. This software has the ability to allow the machine to be connected to a domain with an Active Directory of its users or stay in a standalone non-domain connected state.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed to the Contract Specialist, Mr. Stephen Winkler at [email protected]. Responses to this notice must be submitted by 1 March 2019. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in a future competition.
