The objective of this service contract is for the Contractor to inspect, update and repair electrical Life, Health, Safety (LHS) hazards for low voltage electrical power systems (low voltage as defined by Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-520-01 appendix D-2: Definitions of Terms, i.e. electrical systems having a root mean square [rms] voltage of less than 1,000 volts) in Afghanistan. The Contractor shall provide the necessary labor and the workman's tools and inspection, update and repair equipment, to include safety equipment, with the government procuring the Electrical Bill of Material (EBOM). Additionally, the Contractor shall operate and perform stock control functions at two EBOM yards with one currently located at Bagram Airfield (BAF), Afghanistan and another to be established at Kandahar Air Field (KAF). The work will take place at existing established facilities with Department of Defense (DOD) presence.
