The 502d Contracting Squadron at JBSA-Randolph, TX intends to award a single source purchase order to Hatteras Instruments Inc, 105 Southbank Drive, Cary, NC, 27518-8991 (Cage Code: 4GGK5) under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The proposed contract action is for an Electromagnetic Precision Cortical Impactor (PCI 3000) with Stereotaxic Frame in support of the 59th Medical Wing. Hatteras Instruments Inc, is the only company that is able to meet the requirement. Please see attached Single Source Justification for further details.

The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 339112, and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. While the intent of the Government is to award single source to Hatteras Instruments Inc, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Responses must be received by the Government no later than April 8, 2019, 10:00 A.M. (CST). A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
