The research team requires a versatile and portable EMG/EP device that is easy to use. The unit must run a variety of EMG tests, such as routine EMG, triggered EMG, MUP analysis. The EMG unit must have the ability to perform both SEP (somatosensory evoked potentials) and AEP (acoustic evoked potentials). The ability to conduct live interference pattern analysis, live firing rate analysis and live multi- and single-MUP analysis. Additionally, the device needs to be extremely portable. This will allow the team to be able to use this system in a variety of places and situations. It is needed that it come as a portable unit that can be transferred in a carrying case. This system needs to be able to be operated by a handheld stimulator and come with pre-loaded programmable software on a laptop that will allow the team to tailor it to the specific needs of the team’s protocols.
