The U.S. Department of State, Regional Procurement Support Office and the U. S. Embassy, Kingston, are seeking qualified offerors for providing elevator maintenance and repair services at the U.S. Embassy Compound, U.S. Agency for International Development building, and Colin Powell Plaza in Kingston, Jamaica. The required services at these locations will include scheduled monthly routine elevator maintenance to maintain all serviced elevators in safe, reliable, and efficient operating condition. Routine services will include inspections, cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and providing and installing repair and replacement parts as necessary. The elevator types include Traction, Winding Drum, and Hydraulic. In addition to the routine monthly scheduled services, the contractor will be required to provide one day non-emergency response services to trouble shoot and repair elevator malfunctions. The contractor will also be required to provide emergency response services on a 24 hours/7 days basis. The solicitation is planned for release to qualified offerors in July 2008, with contract award anticipated in September 2008. The resulting contract type will be firm-fixed price, with a base year and four option years. The estimated value of services for each year of the contract is between $150,000 and $250,000 (U.S.).
