This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # M00263-13-T-1038 is issued as an request for quotation (RFQ).  The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-76 and DFARS Public Notice 20140828.  This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) codes for this requirement are 334112. This acquisition provides for the supplies necessary to facilitate adding more disk and shelf space to two (2) existing EMC² storage systemes to increase  maximum storage capacity by approximately 200TB. The contractor ensures compatibility with the existing infrastructure. The contract type will be a fixed-price contract pursuant to FAR Subpart 16.2.  This is a brand name requirement.  The specifications for these warranty support are outlined in Section C of the solicitation.
