The Office of Food for Peace (FFP) in the U.S. Agency for International Development's Bureau for Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance (DCHA) provides grants for food assistance to private voluntary organizations (PVOs) and the UN World Food Program (WFP) under Title II of Public Law 480. FFP provides both emergency food aid (which aims to address food aid needs arising from natural disasters, such as floods or droughts, and complex emergencies often characterized by insecurity and population displacement) and non-emergency food aid (which aims to address the underlying causes of chronic food insecurity). The Team Leader will work primarily on the implementation of specific IDA-funded emergency food security programs. The Team Leader will have two general sets of responsibilities. First, the Team Leader will perform Agreement Officer Technical Representative (AOTR) roles handling specific ongoing IDA-funded emergency grants. Second, the Team Leader will serve in specific Team Leader roles managing FFP's emergency food security initiative.
