INVITATION TO BID Bid No. 2012-09-13 Cameron Parish School Board (herein referred to as the âOWNERâ) Sealed bids marked âSealed Bid â Emergency Generator â Cameron Auditorium - Cameron Parish School Board Community Development Block Grant Project to be financed by the State of Louisiana CDBG Programâ will be received by the Owner for the construction of the project described as follows: Emergency Generator â Cameron Auditorium 512 Marshall Street Cameron, Louisiana 70631 Proposals shall be addressed to the âCameron Parish School Boardâ, and delivered to the Office of Vincent - Shows Architects located at 1502 South Huntington Street, Sulphur, Louisiana 70663, until the hour of 2:00 p.m. local time, on the 15th day of January, 2013. Sealed bids to be marked âSealed Bid â Emergency Generator â Cameron Auditorium â Community Development Block Grant Project to be financed by the State of Louisiana CDBG Programâ Any bid received after the specified time and date will not be considered. The sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. on the 15th, day of January, 2013 in the Conference Room at the Offices of Vincent â Shows Architects located at 1502 South Huntington Street, Sulphur, Louisiana 70663. The Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond and other contract documents may be examined at the Offices of Vincent â Shows Architects located at 1502 South Huntington Street, Sulphur, Louisiana 70663. Copies may be obtained at this office upon payment of $20.00. This deposit will be refunded upon request in accordance with R.S. 38:2212. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Contractor shall begin mobilization and procurement of materials within ten (10) working days of the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bids may also be submitted by electronic means security/password protected to: www.centralbidding.com ensuring the following information is included on all pages of all correspondence: a) Vendor Name as registered with Louisiana Secretary of State-Corporation Database b) Vendor Sales Representative and contract number(s) c) Formal Bid # 2012-09-13 d) Bid due Date and Time The Attention of Bidders is called particularly to the requirements for conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109. Executive Order 11246, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal government and State of Louisiana and bonding and insurance requirements. The successful bidder must submit executed copies of Section 3 Certification of Successful Bidder and Section 3 Plan with Tables A and B prior to Contract Execution. Minority, female-owned and Section 3 firms are encouraged to submit bids.
