This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.  This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) under GSA requirement number ID40160109.  Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used for this acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 13.  This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-87 effective April 25, 2016.  The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement to Control Southern Inc, 3850 Lakefield Dr, Suwanee, GA 30021-1241 using procedures outlined in FAR subpart 13.5 in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. 

The purpose of this contract action is for installation and Software Support Service for the Emerson CSI AMS Suite Software. This software is necessary to update the existing Predictive Maintenance Program located at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida 32212-016, 101 CNC Machine Shop C62145.

The existing software is not in compliance with DOD Windows XP eradication NAVADMIN 206. This Predictive Maintenance software/hardware is required to collect vibration and oil analysis data specifically for Single Point Failure and Top 10/100 equipment.  The data collection will give early fault detection allowing time to procure parts and schedule repairs, thus preventing catastrophic failure and excessive downtime.
