The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to award a sole source fixed price delivery order to Multi Health Systems for EQ-i2.0 Emotional intelligence Assessments to be used by the Training Division for Leading People Courses and National Academy courses. The FBI has several full-time facilitators and instructors certified in the MHS EQ-i2.0 assessment, as well as coaches based on the instrument's results.
Of the four top Emotional Assessment Models, one is geared to individual ability in four dimensions, another is geared to individual self-awareness/self-management, another is targeted to emotional awareness and the EQ-i2.0 measures skills in five composite scales and 15 sub-scales. This is a most applicable and valuable tool for the FBI and highly suited for law enforcement.
The EQ-i2.0 is used in tangent with the National Academy curriculum and the results are understandable and do not require advanced statistical knowledge. Digital assessment results have heightened security features to ensure the results remain secure with no personal information breached. If the FBI were to use a different assessment tool, the entire curriculum would need to be revamped.
