The successful candidate will be part of a five-person MCP team which focuses primarily on country and program monitoring and evaluation issues in E&E and, increasingly, elsewhere in the USG foreign assistance community. The team maintains the Bureau's MCP dataset and analytical system and is part of the E&E Bureau's SPA Division of the Program Office. Team members work closely with other SPA colleagues and, in that context, their evidence-based analysis and research contributes to the full cycle of the Bureau's strategic planning efforts, from facilitating the identification of strategic priorities to program monitoring and evaluation. The MCP team also collaborates with other parts of the Agency (including PPL and the other geographic bureaus) and with interagency colleagues (most notably, the State Department's EUR/ACE and the Office of U.S. Foreign Assistance Resources or F) on evidence-based analysis.
