The EndoPAT can be purchased only from Itamar. The EndoPAT is the only FDA-approved device indicated for assessment of endothelial function. No other vendor produces a device that performs this assessment, and no other vendor manufactures a device that is both approved by the FDA, takes non-invasive measures, and is sufficiently compact to fit into the environment of a mobile testing vehicle. There is no other source for assessing endothelial function.
The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) is not applicable to this requirement.
This synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
