The Naval Air Systems Command, Air Combat Electronics Program Office (PMA209), intends to award a Sole Source Modification to N00019-11-C-0019 to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc, 150 Parish Drive, Wayne, NJ 07474-0975 (POC; Sabra Frankel, 973-633-6124) The modification is for direct support of production consisting of technical, engineering, integration, repair, and operations support of the radar altimeter receiver / transmitter, RT-1805/APN, NSN 5999-01-481-3659, Low Probability of Intercept Altimeter (LPIA). The RT-1805/APN was previously developed under a competitive contract that was awarded to BAE. As such BAE maintains the proprietary information required to support the tasking being obtained under this contract. The tasking to be accomplished under this contract is to be determined as needs arise, but may include consulting engineering support on the performance and interface characteristics of the RT-1805/APN, specialized engineering investigations including troubleshooting of specific interface, integration or performance difficulties, out of warranty repair of production RT-1805/APN, pre-production RT-1805/APN or specialized equipment. The award is intended to be made non-competitively to BAE Systems, Wayne NJ, on the basis of only one responsible source. The duration of the contract shall be through 10 January 2013.
