This acquisition is for engineering services to develop technical data for the redesigned Line Replaceable Units (LRU) 3C and 6C of the AN/ALR-56C system. The contractor shall develop Test Requirement Documents (TRD), provide updates to applicable TOs, analysis of required Common Aircraft Portable Reprogramming Equipment (CAPRE) updates and support for the Improved Item Replacement Program (IIRP) associated with the redesigned LRUs 3C and 6C.
The proposed contract action is sole source to BAE, Systems Information & Electronic Systems Integration, Cage Code 81413 under statutory authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government does not currently own the technical data. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The approximate solicitation issue date is 06 MAY 2011.
