This is a notice of intent that AFLCMC anticipates issuing a Request For Proposal for the acquisition of Engineering Services in support of the Precision Attack Technical Coordination Program (TCP) Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night (LANTIRN) program for Foreign Military Sales (FMS). 

The proposed contract action is for Foreign Military Sales for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training, CAGE: 16331, under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as supplemented by FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for a basic 12 month period of performance and will include two (2) options with a period of performance of 12 months each. The total period of performance is 36 months. 

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
