This is a notice of intent that AFSC/PZABB, Electronic Warfare Sustainment, intends to issue a definitive contract to
provide engineering services which are required to provide depot support services for AN/ALR-56C Radar Warning
Receiver (RWR) currently installed on the Fâ15, F-16 and C-130 aircraft. This action will result in the award of a followon
five (5) year with four (4) oneâyear options, Firm-Fixed Price, Definitive (C-type) Contract.
The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one
source, British Aerospace Enterprises (BAE) Systems, Cage: 81413, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One
Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government does not
own the data or the rights to the data needed to contract repair of parts from additional sources. This acquisition does
include the development and delivery of technical data that may be utilized for future competitive procurements.
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This
notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this
proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
