The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division intends to procure on a sole source basis, development of procedures, algorithms, and software tools and development of procedures, algorithms, and software tools and determination of a matrix of model parameters for the modified UNIFAC predictive model, for the assessment of vapor-liquid equilibria on the basis of experimental data stored in the NIST SOURCE Data Archival System and other relevant sources, as a further enhancement of the NIST ThermoData Engine, which implements the concept of dynamic data evaluation for thermophysical and thermochemical properties at Boulder CO, to Korea University Research and Business Foundation at Department of Chemical Engineering, Korea University 1 ANAM-Dong 5 (O)-GA, Seongbuk-GU, Seoul, Korea 136713. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate to only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS classification is 7030 ADP software.
