This is Amendment No. 1.  The specifications in our invitation for bids on Jacket  505-230, scheduled for opening at August 22, 2018 at 11:00 am, are amended as follows:

•1.    Add on page 2 of 6.

      PROOFS

Contractor to submit one "Press Quality" PDF soft proof (for content only) using the same Raster Image Processor (RIP) that will be used to produce the final printed product.  PDF proof will be evaluated for text flow, image position, and color breaks.  Proof will not be used for color match. 

Email proofs will be withheld for 2 days.

•2.    Page 2 of 6 remove.

     All PMS color must be shown in proofs as close as possible to the actual color.  

     This is a reprint and all components MUST match to the previously printed pieces.

3.  Page 4 of 6 remove.

      Special Instructions:  In the event that inspection of press sheets is waived by the

      Government, the following listed alternate standards (in order of precedence) shall become            

      the specified standards.     

     P-7.    Government furnished electronic media and approved Press Inspection

     P-8.    Government furnished electronic media and approved Press Inspection

     P-9.    Government furnished electronic media and approved Press Inspection

     P-10.  Government furnished electronic media and approved Press Inspection

All other specifications remain the same.
