THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) and FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) (i), only one responsible source, to:

Saint Paul, MN, 55117-1789

The objective of this sole source award is to procure the Ensite Velocity Navx Patch Kit for Government owned EnSite System, 3-D ultrasound system for Electrophysiology procedures.

St. Jude Medical, Inc is the only source that provides the EnSite NavX patches that meet the requirements due to their parts and accessories are sole proprietorship of St. Jude.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. All information received by 10:00 AM Pacific Time on January 29, 2016 may be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Uyen Tran at [email protected]. The email subject line shall state, "Naval Medical Center San Diego, Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source ENSITE VELOCITY NAVX PATCH KIT". A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
