The City of Tempe (“City”) is looking for an Entrepreneurship/Business Engagement Consultant (“Consultant”) who will work directly with the Economic Development team to connect with the local startup entrepreneurial community and identify and refer next stage companies suited to expand/locate in Tempe’s Broadway Maker District and Smith Innovation Hub. The duties of the Consultant will include outreach, education and marketing, event planning, and identification /referral of locate leads. Coordination and implementation of two (2), one-day education/engagement events for entrepreneurs will be required, including Tempe’s Phx East Valley Entrepreneur Week Event in February 2020. Additionally, the Consultant will develop and implement a social media campaign promoting and connecting with the entrepreneurial community, related events, company successes, etc.
