EPR SPECTROMETER: The solicitation number is FA8601-11-T-0016. The NAICS Code is 334516. The size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is Bruker-BioSpin Corporation, Billerica, MA. The purchase is for an Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) Spectrometer with Electron Nuclear Double Resonance (ENDOR) Option. This acquisition is in direct support of the Air Force Institute of Technology and its directive to graduate students with experience using the latest in science and technology. The salient characteristics of the spectrometer are attached to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any information received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
