The Army Contracting Command –Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to solicit and award a sole source order to HEXAGON US FEDERAL, INC, 301 Cochran Road SW Huntsville, AL 35824 under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. The proposed contract will be awarded on a firm fixed price basis.  The North American Industry Classification System code is 511210 with a size standard of $41.5M.

This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations.  No solicitation package will be issued.  Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.  All responses received by 2:00 PM. EST on 11 December 2020 will be considered by the Government.  All information should support the offeror’s capability to provide the supplies and services requested, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
