PURPOSE

 The AFLCMC/HBNK, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Branch is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research.  Potential vendor must be able to export components, provide OEM warranty, and establish training at Ericsson Academy in Genoa, Italy.  The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified commercial sources technically capable of providing:

1. Ericsson Superior Packet Optical (SPO) 1460 Multiplexer
2. BYB 501 Cabinet
3. Earthing Cables
4. Spares: Patch Panel, Fan Unit, 1460 Power Module
5. NMS Expansion Licenses
6. Training courses: (or current equivalent)
   1. SPO 1400 R14 Basic Commissioning
   2. SPO 1400 R14 PDH SDH Operations
   3. SPO 1400 R14 Ethernet Operations
   4. SPO 1400 R14 Maintenance
   5. Service On Element Manager R16 for Optical and Microwave Network Operation
   6. Ericsson IP Transport NMS R16 for Ethernet Service Operations
   7. Ericsson IP Transport NMS R16 Advanced Ethernet Management
   8. System Administration for Ericsson Service On EM / IP Transport NMS R16
