The 1st Contracting Squadron at Langley Air Force Base intends to award a sole source contract to Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. for ESRI Maintenance License Renewal. The procurement is authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The NAICS for this requirement is 511210 and the applicable SIC is 7372. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer not later than 0900 Hours EST, 23 March 2009. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the contractor's capabilities and the ability to comply with above requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
