USDA-ARS, Carl Hayden Bee Research Center, has a requirement for the EthoVision® XT 7.1 software program and hardware accessories for the purposes of tracking and analyzing insect and mite behaviors in bioassays. The system includes EthoVision® XT 7.1 with Multiple Arena Module and Social Interaction Module for quantifying Insect Behavior, desktop computer for use with EthoVision® XT 7.1 and Noldus 4-channel digital video Recorder 2.1, Noldus 4-channel digital video Recorder 2.1, Monochrome IR Sensitive Cameras, Color Camera with Lens, Camera Stands, IR Illuminators, and Technical Support. A solicitation is not available for this requirement; USDA-ARS intends to negotiate with the only known source, Noldus, in order to maintain a common results set and compatibility with ongoing research and existing databases.
