Sole Source Justification: This repair service requires proprietary parts to complete the repairs. The Government only knows of one source that has access to these proprietary parts, Ruhle Companies, Inc. Market research: Multiple searches of the Small Business Administration (SBA) Dynamic Small Search did not identify any other small business available to compete for this required repair service. Search parameters included a combination of NAICS code ‘334513, 334519' and key words: ‘repair, nexrad, encoders'; and just key words: ‘repair, nexrad, encoders'. A search of "repair Nexrad encoders" in GSA's eLibrary returned no matches. A Sources Sought was posted on Federal Business Opportunities on August 14, 2013 for 5 days and no other responsible responses were received.
