The Government intends to award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation on a sole source basis to YSI Inc. based on the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302 for the items at Attachment 1.  THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTE.  The justification for the non-competitive procurement is that YSI, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the line of instruments and sensors known as the "EXO". These items are available only from YSI directly.
